What exactly is a Design Concierge?

Typically, you associate a concierge with a hotel service – someone who helps you with your stay. The same concept applies when you’re talking about a Design Concierge.

Design Concierge sounds like an expensive word.

However, when I started Chartreuse Design Studio, my main goal was to bring professional interior design services to anyone and to have the flexibility to customize my services and retainers, to fit the client’s personal needs and budget. As your design concierge, you can retain my services to do anything from helping you pick out a paint color or design a full kitchen remodel. The retainers are fully customizable to what the client would like me to help them with.

I do all of the legwork, researching, gathering samples, formatting the materials, and designing to help the client and/or contractor implement the new design. I streamline the process by working closely with you, which helps me create a space that is designed exclusively for you. My belief is that a space should be designed for your lifestyle and personality, not mine.

There are so many products available, and I believe that inexpensive materials can look and work just as well as expensive materials. Theirs is a time and place for splurging, but ultimately it is all about how the space is coordinated to work together, not the price of the materials. I love to find products for my clients that they love and that look great!

As a Design Concierge, I take the stress out of coordinating materials, finding the best price on materials, and designing the floor plan. I work closely with my client(s) , listen to what is important to them, what style they like, and then incorporate it all into their space.
